About Glitch / Ingredients

Hi! I'm Bree. I am the owner and creator behind Glitch Lacquer. After years of biting my nails (a habit I'm still trying to break) I started wearing press-ons to save money on getting my nails professionally done. This rapidly snowballed into an all-encompassing obsession with nail polish. One fateful day, after buying a few nail polishes that were SO disappointing to me - I fell down the rabbit hole of changing polishes I had, and then making my own. 

I am steadfast in my convictions. I believe in human rights and the self determination of all people. Glitch, as a brand, is no different. We stand for equality, and we look forward to creating a community of like-minded individuals!

All of my polishes are 10-Free which means they do not contain camphor, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde, formaldehyde resins, lead, parabens, or fragrance. They are also vegan and cruelty free. They're air dry - no UV light needed. I love rich colors, flashy glitters, and crazy magnetic pigments. I make all of my polishes in small batches - I do my best to duplicate but some small variation may happen. Additionally there is a small risk of pigment specks being present in the polish, though I do my best to prevent this. If you're ever dissatisfied with the quality of a polish PLEASE contact me.

My turnaround time is 1 week. My goal is to maintain stock of all polishes, and keep the shop open regularly. My brand is FOMO free - if a product is truly out of stock it is because I'm waiting for ingredients. Due to the nature of the product we do not accept returns.

In the event of a product defect or damage during shipping please reach out to info@glitchlacquer.com. I will gladly replace or, if it's out of stock, refund these items.

In order to complete these refunds/exchanges I require picture proof of the broken bottle/missing polish/etc. This helps us find failure points to improve your experience, as well as file claims with USPS for breaks.

All of my polishes are mixed by hand in small batches. I do my best, but there may be some slight variation between batches, as well as a small chance of pigment specks. If you have any issues with your polish, please contact me.
