The Cooper Do-Nuts Riot was in response to police harassment of the queer, predominantly gay male, community at a donut shop in Los Angeles in 1959, and is often cited as the first gay uprising in the United States. Do-Nuts is inspired by the gay pride flag. Do-Nuts is a deep blue jelly base with a green to teal to blue magnetic pigment.
